Must try clam udon (Asari udon)! Very simple but delicate. I also love the dango :)
View on GoogleWe stopped by a restaurant, Hashidate Chaya, and deduced that clams might be the local specialty, so we all opted for clam udon. We counted them; each of us had 11 clams, the soup was super fresh and umami but I thought the udon wasn't as good as those I had before in Kyoto and Osaka.
View on GoogleOutside dinning experience with grill. They provided the charcoal grill for you and you just go pick/order your food at the counter +pay there. The food is fresh most of the things are good and tasty except soba noodle. The oysters was great with grill. If you don’t know how to open it, the restaurant could do it for you. The price is not bad but not cheap, still affordable.
View on GoogleIni makan place off the main street, not so mainstream, and most JENG is no need queue 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 At beach side summore, make it a very peaceful place to enjoy your meal. Total bill ~SGD 30.... nice nice especially tu crab porridge 😋😋😋
View on GoogleIt's famous for the Asari don but honestly it's overpriced and not good. The lala clams (Asari) were not strong in flavour making the don a very mild taste. I would recommend the things that you can barbeque! We had the chance to barbeque it ourselves but not sure if it's the same for everyone as we were the only customers there. The barbeque ingredients were good and fresh. Also the place seemed smaller than the pictures in Google maps. (Not a knock on it)
