Love the cafe latte, smooth, aromatic and bold. The cafe was well decorated and quiet.
View on GoogleAmericano coffee 400¥ 📍Coffee-kan Siphon 珈琲館 サイホン, Miyazu, Kyoto If you’re looking to try siphon coffee, this is a great place to start ☕ At Coffee-kan Siphon in Miyazu, the siphon brewing method creates a clean, aromatic cup with a smooth and refined flavor, thanks to the vacuum process that extracts coffee more delicately than typical drip methods 🔥 I ordered an Americano, which turned out light, well-balanced, and very easy to drink—perfect for a slow, relaxing moment ✨ You can experience this traditional Japanese-style coffee here in a cozy, nostalgic atmosphere that makes the whole visit even more special 👉 Full video and more food discovery in Japan: @fastingidie on TikTok & Instagram! 🎥🍣
View on GoogleTraditional Japanese cafe hosted by three elderly ladies. Full of vintage items and decoration. Serving with Siphon coffee, and you would be amazed if it’s your first time to see how it’s been done.
View on GoogleI’m kind of an expert on Japanese retro coffee shops, since I live close to Nagoya (the real home for モーニング culture). This one stacks up with the better ones in Nagoya and Osaka though. GREAT atmosphere and real old school decorations. The morning set is pretty reasonable: ¥600; although mine was bumped up to ¥690 because I got tea.
View on GoogleI ordered "hotcakes" and my partner ordered an egg sandwich and ended up ordering a second one while we were there. Was hard to find a more western breakfast in this city, but we got our fix with this restaurant! Really affordable pricing as well. Cash only.
