Climbing the stairs is a bit tough, but there are few people so you can spend your time quietly. On sunny days the view is wonderful too, and it was a very pleasant place.
View on GoogleVisited 2026.4.20 It was a rest area with a great view and a comfortable atmosphere. ※Apparently there's parking for 2 cars, but a temporary toilet had been set up so parking wasn't possible ※You have to climb steep stairs, so be careful going up and down
View on GoogleThe steep stairs just keep going, but the view was good. There's almost no bicycle parking space.
View on GoogleIt is said to be one of the places where Sesshu sketched when painting 'Amanohashidate-zu'. From the bench on the middle level, you can see Amanohashidate to your right. The sea is also very beautiful. There's an arbor at the very top, but the surrounding trees are tall so the view from there was narrower. It was a quiet and very calming place.
View on GoogleA place I was able to visit precisely because of the ink painting Sesshu painted long ago. It stirred something in my heart.
