A popular eatery located a bit away, typical of tourist spots. Recommended for those who prefer a town eatery that supports the stomachs of local fishermen rather than the standard taste at tourist spots with high prices. Because the photo of the meat udon in the reviews looked delicious, I ordered meat soba and katsudon. As a result, I regretted that I should have ordered rice instead of katsudon... This meat soba is not just soba, but also a side dish. The clear broth is a two-layered soup with meat broth. This is delicious! The noodles are the cheap type usually found in supermarkets, similar to station soba, but in a shop like this, such noodles fit. As for the katsudon, it's a new type of katsudon with thin, very chewy cutlets, with onions and chopped kamaboko. The egg is super soft-boiled, and the way to eat it at an eatery is to pour the meat from the meat soba over it and devour it. I was also curious about the omurice and chicken rice but... Since I was on my way back from a trip from Ibaraki to Shikoku and Kyushu, I don't come here often, but it's a definite popular eatery! The owner is also kind (^^) It was very delicious! Thank you for the meal ♪
View on GoogleToday I visited "Sakane Shokudo" 🤲 I was attracted by the old-fashioned exterior and local atmosphere. This time I ordered the famous meat udon, raw egg, and rice 🍚 The first thing that surprised me was the amount of beef filling the bowl. It was so full that you couldn't see the udon, and it whetted my appetite just by looking at it 🙌 The broth has a gentle sweetness, but the umami and fat of the beef are well dissolved, giving it a very rich flavor. It's the kind of broth that gets better the more you drink it 💪 The beef is tender and the flavor is well absorbed, making it a perfect match for rice. When you add a raw egg halfway through, it becomes milder and even more delicious. The combination of egg-topped rice eaten with the meat udon broth was also excellent 🤝 It's not a flashy shop, but it's a comforting eatery that explains why it has been loved by the local community for many years. The price range is reasonable, and it's a nice point that you can get full ☝️ For those looking for a warm meal in the Maizuru area, this is one place I highly recommend ☑️
View on GoogleA shop with exquisite meat udon with a gentle broth and plenty of meat. The owner is also a friendly person, and even though I visited with a donkey, he kindly let me use the parking lot. This is one place I would like to recommend to travelers with donkeys.
View on GoogleOrdered meat soba. The aroma is appetizing. The taste is also impeccable. Since I visited between lunch and dinner, there weren't many other customers, and that was a good atmosphere in its own way. In a good sense, I don't think this is a shop where you have to line up to eat, so it might not feel like a place highly recommended for tourists? I visited for another purpose, missed lunch, and still had time before dinner... while wondering what to do, there was a nice, locally-rooted eatery, so I used it with gratitude and was very satisfied. Thank you very much.
View on GoogleI came because I heard there was hormone udon, but there wasn't any. I ate the thick-sauce Chinese noodles, and it was delicious. Water is served by the shop staff. For refills, help yourself.
