Incredible sushi and hospitality! Come by!
View on GoogleA day trip to Maizuru with no particular destination. Looking for a lunch spot after getting off at Maizuru East Interchange. Since it's the Sea of Japan, since it's seafood, it's decided to be sushi, so I searched. Matsue Sushi came up. There weren't many reviews, but the Google reviews all felt good. Decided. Arrived at the shop. A shop you might almost miss. At 11:45 am, lunch time, when I opened the door, there was no one there, so I thought it might be closed. Oh no. Anyway, I ordered the special nigiri sushi (with akadashi/2,200 yen), top nigiri sushi (with akadashi/1,850 yen), and 1.5 servings of nigiri sushi (with akadashi/1,500). I met the best sushi of the year. Above all, the owner and his wife were very kind, talked to me a lot, suggested a sightseeing course in Maizuru, and following that was the right decision! It was the best!
View on GoogleStaying overnight in Maizuru, aiming for Amanohashidate. I visited because I wanted to try a local shop. Luxury on the journey. Ordered the Tokujo with akadashi. ¥2200?! Even though it's not conveyor belt sushi. Haha It's cheap. Can't really call it luxury. The taste is perfect. The akadashi is delicious. The angel shrimp with head was also delicious. Well, everything was delicious. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. It seems they are open until 22:00 at night. Because many people come before boarding the ferry, they say they are open until that time. Unfortunately, it seems there is no parking lot. Across the street there is a Gyomu Super... well... since it's empty... well.... I think that's what it is. Of course, I bought a drink and left.
View on GoogleUsed it for dinner for the first time❗️ The shop is small, about the size of one counter and one table, but the atmosphere is good and feels warm. It is run by a couple, the owner and his wife, but they are friendly and have a good impression. I ordered the Tokujo Nigiri and several types of single items, the sushi was small but all the ingredients were flavorful and delicious❗️ The akadashi was also not peculiar and very delicious, I want to visit again♪ Thank you for the meal❗️
View on GoogleI was able to enjoy thick and delicious Tokujo sushi at an affordable price 🍣 The set akadashi also had a good broth and was very delicious 😋
