I happened to pass by while it was open, so I stopped in🌸 I learned about naval history, mainly Togo Heihachiro, and also the modern navy(*´ч`*) Thinking back to when Japan was strong,,, It was a lovely time✨✨ Only open Saturdays and Sundays, 10~15☺️ Last admission at 14:30🙆‍♀️ I got in without a reservation! There’s no parking, so you need to park elsewhere, but the only places are about a 15-minute walk away😭

The former auditorium of the Naval Engineering School. The ceiling in the Maritime Self-Defense Force exhibition area is magnificent. The exhibits at the 4th Service School (accounting school), which uses the former Naval Engineering School building, are more extensive.

Generally open free on Saturdays and Sundays” “Japan Heritage” “Togo Heihachiro’s handwriting on display” “Parking a 20-minute walk away” “KanColle guide” Although visiting dates are limited, the archive room where you can learn about Japan’s naval history opens free of charge. A simple procedure is required for admission. It is inconvenient, with parking very far away, so it has a low sightseeing priority. The materials mainly concern Togo Heihachiro, the first commander-in-chief of the Maizuru Naval District. His handwriting is also on display. I was surprised by the amount on Togo’s pay slip. I would very much like it to be used as a basis for improving the treatment of Self-Defense Force personnel. The building is the former grand auditorium of the Naval Engineering School and is Japan Heritage. It is very impressive considering it was built in a rushed 3-month construction project. You can view the auditorium too. You can also enter the archive room of the 4th Service School. Textbooks and exam content are exhibited, and you can enjoy the atmosphere inside as well. A guide for the state-recognized beautiful-girl game “Kantai Collection” is available. 【Parking】Akarenga Park, a 20-minute walk each way 【Toilets】Clean 【Accessibility♿】Wheelchair viewing requires assistance and consultation #letsguide

It was wonderful to see the valuable materials. If you want to visit, there is no parking, so you need to park somewhere else and request a visit at the entrance. Admission is free, and there were few people. It takes at least 20 minutes to walk from the red brick warehouses.
