Very cool and cosy place, with perfect staff and food, highly recommended
View on GoogleThe structure requires taking off shoes and there is a step at the entrance. The seats are horigotatsu type, so you have to squat. I think it's a bit difficult to use for those with leg problems. The food was very delicious. I had ginger pork. The sweetness of the pork belly was very delicious, and the rice went down well. They told me that the rice was a lot, so my mother who eats little asked for a small portion, but when she put tororo on the rice, she said she could eat it smoothly, so she said the rice wasn't even enough. I was very curious about the ponzu sour. I want to go at night too. Recommended.
View on GoogleI ate the sashimi set. It seems the rice portion for the set meal is a bit much, so for those who can't eat much, it might be better to ask for a little less. The tororo contains miso, and it was delicious when eaten directly on rice without mixing it with soy sauce. There are two horigotatsu-style 4-person seats and counter seats (about 5 people). The toilet is a Western-style shared by men and women. R8.5.29 Addition: The sashimi set is being prepared right after opening. Maybe it's better to go after 12 o'clock? Since menus not marked as night-only menus can be eaten from lunch, lunch drinking is also possible.
View on GoogleCannot handle 10 customers. Entered at 19:30. They came to take drink orders at 19:50. They came to take food orders 10 minutes later. My son has a dormitory curfew, so because it took too long, I deliberately ordered a set meal, but the food was served an hour later. In the end, my son left first without eating dinner, and there was not a single word of apology. They told people who came after us that it would take a long time to serve food. Cheap but the boiled fish set and ginger pork set are better if made at home. Convenient in front of the station, but I can only recommend it to those who have time. By the way, according to my son, if there are only two customers, they can serve food normally.
View on GoogleArrived at Higashi-Maizuru Station, by chance I was googling for a restaurant for lunch and found this shop. I had the wheat tororo set with sashimi. The horse mackerel, tsubasu, and squid sashimi were really delicious. The wheat tororo rice was also delicious. The rice bran pickles also felt well-pickled and delicious.
