With our famous 'Kayaku-meshi' and 'Tekka-meshi', as well as Kyoto obanzai and a la carte dishes with a little alcohol, this is a relaxing and reasonable shop to take a break. Tucked away in the middle of an alley leading from Shijo-dori, the atmosphere might look intimidating at first glance, but first-time customers, families, and individuals can dine with peace of mind. Authentic Izakaya, founded back in 1965. Japanese hospitality, frequented by local. They do have one English Menu. No picture is allowed. Recommended, a gem not to miss if you happened to be around Gion area.
View on GoogleMight be hard to find as it’s tucked in an alley but so worth it! Food was amazing and for a fair price. We got to sit in a private room upstairs and try a bit of everything due to the reasonable portion sizes
