If you want to enjoy yakiniku, lunch, or dinner near Fujinomori Station in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto, come to "Yakiniku Dokoro Kanae". Because it is directly managed by the butcher shop "Igaya" which has been in business for over 50 years, we can offer high-quality meat at reasonable prices. At our shop, we purchase whole selected Matsusaka beef, Matsusaka beef, and A4/A5 grade Japanese black beef heifers, and serve them in the best condition for yakiniku, including rare cuts. With the reliable discernment and aging techniques unique to a butcher shop, we bring out the maximum flavor of the Japanese beef. We also have excellent dishes such as white tripe and oxtail soup, as well as a wide selection of local Kyoto Fushimi sake and wine. In a calm space typical of Kyoto, we offer sunken kotatsu seats, semi-private rooms, and counter seats...

Beautiful hidden spot! Excellent atmosphere and service. They have a full English menu and the staff was very helpful showing us how to cook the food. Great food, lovely little date spot. Recommend the peach sorbet for dessert if it’s available (may be seasonal?). Reservations recommended as well.

A while ago I visited with my girlfriend😊 It's a bit of a walk from the station, but the location wasn't too far! The commitment to beef, as seen in the photos, was exquisite and everything was delicious😋 Especially the beef tongue and yukhoe were delicious! Without a doubt, this is the most delicious yakiniku restaurant in the area! Also, the hospitality was good, and I remember being guided very politely and feeling comfortable. A bit disappointing was that a group, likely having an end-of-year party, was a bit noisy, making it hard to talk and distracting, which was a bit unpleasant💦 Since it's not a private room type, it's somewhat unavoidable, but I wish the atmosphere was a bit quieter! The taste was top-notch, so I want to visit again someday😊 Thank you

This is by far the most delicious yakiniku restaurant I have ever been to, and the cost performance is also very good. They handle Matsusaka beef, one of the three best wagyu beef in Japan, and heifers, so you can enjoy high-quality meat. This is my second time, but this time I chose the course. Last time I ordered a la carte, but I think the course is a better deal with carefully selected cuts. If you only look at the price, you might think it's expensive, but the content is very satisfying and you will be full. It was also good that there were no offal dishes. There was an identification number label, so when I checked, it was indeed a heifer. Chateaubriand is very large (larger than a fist) and very satisfying. I didn't feel the fat was too much. The tongue is thick but tender. Ichibo, kainomi, and ramushin will drive meat lovers crazy. At the time of payment, there was a deduction in the items, maybe because they couldn't prepare it. But the amount was so much that I was full, so I didn't mind. Honestly, I don't want this shop to be found, but more than that, it's a shop I really want you to try. The people at the shop are also kind, Since I was full, I was worried about the closing rice, They gave me advice. Since I wanted a small portion, I chose sushi, There were two types, so I asked for the recommended one. They served them one by one. Both were equally good, and I think the staff thought so too. Wonderful shop. Highly recommended.
