Unagi restaurant that you can't miss. Falvour is balance and you should try several dishes. We ordered course B and top up with Unagi boiled in egg item. Everything goes well, the vibe, staff service, taste. Reservation is a must. No walk in. Deposit is required on booking.
View on GoogleUnagi tasted great, less oily than other popular unagi places I’ve tried. Reducing a star because the portion was quite small, we ordered a large size but I felt like I’d need 1.5 of that to be fully satisfied. Also there were some tiny bones so be careful. Quality was great overall so worth trying, but personally I think there’re better options for the price.
View on GoogleIt’s very sad to see 广川 service deteriorating so much over the past 8 years. A restaurant once full of pleasant memories, amazing unagi and delicious yuzu soda has morphed into a restaurant of discrimination and insensitivity towards foreign customers. The reservation only mostly applies to foreigners so they can get rid of the long line of people waiting. Around 6-7 pm there were many local Japanese customers waiting without reservation and the restaurant is reasonably empty. The service lady refused to offer a window seat that I used to sit every year and offered a very crammed dining room of two seats even though the main room is empty with only one table of customers. Upon insisting and a long back and forth, I did get the table I wanted. The unagi don remains delicious but the portion got really small with a very thin layer of rice, not sure why. The sashimi is also low quality. Yuzu soda remains good. It’s sad because it was such a great restaurant before. I suggested to the restaurant it’s their decision regarding foreign customers but be honest about it and refrain from taking in foreign customers but with differential treatment.
View on GoogleThe restaurant provided excellent service at an elegant environment. Food was just good. Though it’s a bit expensive but I think its overall quality was absolutely worthy. Remember to book before you go.
View on GoogleThis is a racist establishment. We took a 40 min taxi ride to make our reservation because we read their unagi is one of the best. We got seated at the tiny back room, facing an artificial rock garden while there were many empty tables (only two tables seated) at the main room. The server declined our request to switch to an empty table in the main room and when I asked why, the server said “no reason.” Thinking we needed to pay more to sit in the main room, I asked if I could pay and she said no. Funny enough, as we were leaving a couple of minutes later, they sat a white couple in the main room. So they would rather leave the tables empty than offering them to non-Japanese, non-Caucasian customers. Talk about racist unwelcoming Japanese hospitality.
