The pasta may have been a bit too thin but the preparation and plating were very good. Recommend the set. Good meal with a very good offering for the price.

My family stumbled across this place whilst trying to look for another eatery. Be aware there are 4 flights of narrow steep stairs up. The restaurant is run by 1 man only! He is the cook, waiter and owner! There is 1 long table that would fit 10 people max. As we were having a late lunch, we were the only people there. The pasta is handmade and delicious. We were served refreshing drinks and were drooling at the smell of our food cooking. Amazing views also over Kyoto. Please visit this place, you will be unexpectedly delighted at this Italian find in Kyoto!

Although there are only bar seats, the street view is beautiful and the sight is wide. The boss is responsible for all the work alone and is very busy. The dishes are great, especially the pasta, which is served with macaroni and seasoned with chili peppers 🌶️, very innovative, refreshing and soothing. The kitchen is open, and the gas has a strong odor. The air conditioner needs to be cleaned of dust

We had absolutely mind blowing good pasta in this quaint 8-seat restaurant overlooking a busy intersection. We tried the garlic pasta and the gorgonzola pasta. Perfectly al dente with enormous amounts of flavor.

A one man operation that is truly something special. You can feel the attention to detail in the food, the setting and the views. You literally sit on a bar top and get a view of the boulevard. Great concept. Very nice food and attention to detail. Great price too. My partner and I shared 3 pastas. Best I’ve had anywhere.
