The sushi was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We happened to walk in before the rush and got seated right before the restaurant filled up. Recommend making reservations! The prices were reasonable and the fish is incredibly fresh!

A real japanese authentic place! Everything we ordered was delightful!Fresh and tasty.The owner and chef,is trully skillful. We visited TOYO twice in our 5 days' stay in Kyoto. Highly reccomended for real japanese sushi.

Very small place hidden away, a little gem. The food was amazing, we were adviced by a friend to go there and were not disappointed. Few choices but everything so good.

What a wonderful little find - absolutely recommend. Great fresh sushi and other small dishes. They now take cards too.

A wonderful local Japanese Sushi restaurant to stop by for a meal. We ordered a Seafood bowl, Unadon and sushi set for lunch. I also ordered a glass of plumb wine which was beautiful to have with sushi! Sashimi are very fresh and tasty! Would recommend anyone who are nearby to come and check this out! Excellent customer services! Meals are at very reasonable price however payment is cash only so make sure you have cash before coming. Will definitely come back next time👍🏻
