🍽️ Dining inside Kiyomizu-dera was such a special experience! After finishing our visit to the temple, we happened to notice that the outdoor seating area was available, so we quickly grabbed a table before more visitors arrived 😆 🍜 It was Tsukimi Soba, a hot noodle soup topped with a soft-cooked egg. It was absolutely delicious! The broth was light and flavorful, and the noodles were smooth and satisfying. We finished every last bite in no time 😋 The kids loved it too and said they want to come back again next time! 😆✨

I had a quick lunch here after visiting Kiyomizudera. I never imagined myself eating in such a beautiful picturesque place, under the trees and of course the temple, with fresh clean air and on tatami!! The staff is very kind, friendly and super fast serving their customers. I ordered the kitsune udon which was fresh, delicious, tasty and spicy (you add the spices, so it is up to you) and the amazing Kyoto craft beer Alt. Omg this beer was very very good!!! You have to go and eat at this place!

Lovely spot to sit and enjoyed our udon and buckwheat noodle and shaved iced topped with red bean also blessing to see students and people taking turn to get water from each stream of Otowa waterfall. Service was friendly, a little bit of wait but worth it.

Finished my udon at closing time in 10 minutes. Lol! But it was definitely enjoyable. The yellow-beanie-staff was such a cool guy! He served me very well and politely. He also speaks English in a cool accent. Love his attitude. Anyway, look at this beautiful Kiyomizudera at night! This was because he told me not to miss the view as I actually planned to leave after eating. He made me climbed up again and it definitely made my day. Thanks, beanie-guy! We came here for lunch after exploring the famous Fushimi Inari. The place is very spacious and quite busy during lunch time. I ordered the tempura udon and it was so great. The tempura melted in my mouth. The udon noodle is chewy and soft. It was a tasty meal and the portion is quite generous. The price is also fair for a bowl of udon.
