JPY1,210 for aigake (double sauce) curry (2 styles) and cheese-filled menchi katsu. Bright inside, quick and easy. Rakkyo and fukujinzuke pickles you cannot pick up with tongs that don’t work. Convenient if you need to eat before catching a train or in a hurry, but nothing spicy nor special. Ordinary appeals to everyone, so in that sense, it’s a good concept. Shop is accessible from both outside and inside the station.

Easy, quick type of restaurant. People come for eating, and quickly go after. Order via vending machine, give the ticket to the waiter, and your food will arrive shortly. Similar taste with curry from coco ichibanya.

Much better than you have any right to expect! Small Japanese style curry eatery, in kyoto station. eat in and takeaway. Breaded cutlets (or beef), sauce, rice. Mild to medium spiciness, fine for a tasty breakfast. You can add extra vegetables, upgrade your main to large, add extra rice. Help yourself to pickled ginger and pickled ?garlic too. Their coffee is also suprisingly good, much better than Starbucks, ( obviously !) and very affordable at 200yen. Very quick - order and pay at machine - food arrives quickly - you can be in and out in 20-25 minutes. If you are looking for a cosy candlelit romantic dining option then this might not suit, but for something tasty before or after a train journey it's very good.

10/10 food. I went here thinking of getting a quick bite, it was pretty empty, but this might have been the best curry I've ever had. Gramps cooked my food and holy moly I couldn't stop eating. Would recommend and will go there once again
