Absolutely delicious! Everything was so authentic and perfect. We stumbled upon this place walking around looking for a late dinner. The tortilla was what caught our eye on the menu but we left with bellies full of that as well as manchego, chorizo, gambas al ajillo, and sangria! (I personally prefer tortilla poco hecha but the flavours were lovely regardless!) The staff was friendly and welcoming and the vibe was warm, local, and cozy. Service is quick and efficient. Highly recommend stopping here for a taste of Spain!

Popped by this charming restaurant near our accommodation, for a change from Japanese cuisine. Abit disappointed to learn they no longer serve paella. Nonetheless good chance to try cocido (a hearty stew/soup) and munch on some tapas with sangria. Special mention on the shrimp ajillo, which was tasty. It will be nice to provide toasted bread for such dishes rather than charging for it. Overall good experience with friendly service even though some language barrier.

Cosy little Spanish tapas bar run by a rather young team but nonetheless amazing. The chef was attentive to note that I would have problem reading the Japanese menu even though I was with a Japanese friend and asked the waitress to bring me the English menu. Food and service was awesome in my opinion. Would definitely return.

The joy of discovery ... Exceptional Spanish inspired cooking and perfectly curated wine list by the glass ... tasted a few ... from ¥600 house red to about ¥1000/glass The lay back smiling chef gave us the run down of his menu ... can't believe what his charging, between ¥385 (roast onion) to ¥2178 (beef, not the tenderest but delicious nonetheless) for his simple yet potent dishes ... omelette, roast potatoes, Octopus, Shrimp Ajillo (the best of the evening if it have to pick one), and the cheese cake ... perfect closer ... small, simple, straightforward menu ... all that for around ¥12000 for two ... incredible value for money. The young waitress, a literature university student from Tokyo, was just delighful, attentively, making sure that we enjoyed our dining experience, trying to explain food and wine with her English ... thank you and the very best future Itzuka ... hope we can meet again and enjoy a glass or two someday in Melbourne. Always eat with the locals ... we need to explore Japan's culinary more in the future ...

Cozy atmosphere and delicious Spanish dishes! If you want to taste Spanish dishes in Kyoto, Santres will be a great choice. I tired olives, sangria and paella. Everything was good. Especially the staffs and cooks were so kind that I felt I was welcomed.
