Today ramen is known for unlimited free topping of raw eggs on the table counter. Their ramen is rich flavored and fried rice is tasty. I personally felt the soup was slightly too rich for the type of noodles they use.
View on GoogleRamen was very tasty. Both of the broths were nice and savory and the ramen noodles were perfectly chewy. Happy they have raw eggs on the table to use in the ramen! Very solid spot to get a nice bowl!
View on GoogleI visited Ramen Todai in Kyoto and tried their Tokushima-style ramen. One of the standout features is the unlimited raw eggs, which pair perfectly with both the broth and rice. Adding an egg makes the sweet, rich broth taste almost like sukiyaki, which makes sense given that Tokushima ramen is said to have originated from sukiyaki culture. The broth has an addictive sweetness, and the more you eat, the more the flavor grows on you. The meat is tender and well-seasoned, adding real satisfaction to the bowl. Overall, it is a ramen that truly shines when enjoyed together with rice. It was delicious, and I definitely plan to come back.
View on GoogleThis place is located on 10F where it is a floor or Ramen shops. Amazing in itself. The gyoza and fried rice are a must try and good if you have pick kids (or you can do plain rice). Ramen is good and there are a few options you can see on their menu. The most important picture is the first one you see when you get off the elevator (picture attached). That will help you find the ramen you want!
View on GoogleA small restaurant with less than 20 seats (maybe). Hardly any space so please do take note that big luggages will cause some problems. Even the lift leading up to the this ramen “alley” in Isetan is so small that less than 10 people can fit. So kinda interesting to see Que going up and down the lift. This place is on the 10th floor. I personally did not quite like pork meat because it has strong smell. Fortunately I ordered the small portion, and that I struggled to even finish it. They offer free raw egg. You can just pick up one on the table and crack it into the bowl of hot ramen. First, you have to choose one of the ramen restaurants according to your choice, order (and pay) from their machine, and then Que up to get into their restaurant.
