Right near Hankyu "Karasuma Station" and Subway "Shijo Station", close to Nishiki Market and Rokkakudo, "Men-dokoro Muraji Yanaginobaba Rokkaku". October, when the refreshing autumn weather spreads, is a great location to stop by in between autumn Kyoto sightseeing and business trips. Recommended for the autumn appetite is the famous "Lemon Ramen". The rich chicken paitan soup blends with the refreshing acidity of lemon, soaking refreshingly into the body tired from walking in the autumn stroll. If you combine it with our proud "Karaage" that is crispy and juicy, the satisfaction is outstanding. The calm and soft atmosphere of the interior is comfortable even for women alone. Please feel free to stop by during your autumn Kyoto stroll or on your way home from work.

So lucky to stumble upon this ramen spot after hitting the Samurai / Ninja museum. It has all the feels you are looking for when coming to Kyoto. We were led through a nice courtyard garden and into our own private dining table in a separate back room (yet another party was later asked to join us), still the experience started off excellent. The white ramen had perfectly balanced flavor. Ordered both soft and fried gyoza, both bomb! Kids scarfed the fried rice with egg, they loved how it cooked on the hot plate. The chicken karage was exquisite. The matcha ice cream was so rich and delicious. So grateful for the dining we found on our first night in Kyoto. Fed the fam for 8000 yen. Recommend this restaurant to everyone! Thank you!

Overall amazing! If only I had a bigger stomach! I ordered the tsukemen and the broth was just perfection the lemon ramen was great as well light but flavourful broth. Noodles from both dishes were great texture and very filling. One of the best matcha ice creams I have ever eaten! Gyozas and chicken were tasty and had a great crunch to it. Hands down! The staff were amazing kudos to the wonderful ladies that night and a big thank you to the chef for this great menu!

A very quiet tucked away GEM! We have been in Japan for 3 weeks and this is the nicest food we have eaten so far. Ran by all female staff who are very friendly, polite, grateful and extremely hard working. It is very well priced and presented amazingly, and the taste… it is absolutely outstanding!!! 10/10 recommend!!!

My fiance and I came here for dinner on our honeymoon. We had no idea it was a woman based restaurant. Our server was so sweet and helped us with ordering so much. I got the lemon chicken ramen and I will be dreaming of it when I leave Kyoto. The boiled gyoza was also amazing ! Favorite restaurant I have visited in Japan so far! Would recommend:)

We had an amazing food experience at Ramen Muraji. Their gyoza are absolutely out of this world, incredibly flavorful and rich in taste. The fried rice was delicious as well, and both the Black Ramen and Lemon Ramen were outstanding, each with its own unique and memorable flavor. The service was exceptional, and we are truly grateful for the kindness and hospitality of the staff. To top it all off, the green tea ice cream tasted genuinely like real green tea, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Highly recommended!
