This was highlight of our Kyoto trip. We reached here very late and closer to their closing time. But staff was courteous to allow us. Some folks came after us and staff still allowed them. They serve a nice tea. Honestly I do not remember the names, but we ordered various options of noodles. They come with Macha Jelly. We loved everything. We even ordered some extra which staff happily served even though it was post their closing time. Dont miss out if you are in Kyoto.

Considering they offer a welcome gyokuro green tea drink, the high prices don't seem so bad. I believe the cheapest thing on the menu I think starts at 1500yen. The gyokuro was naturally sweet, and almost creamy in texture and lighter than normal green tea on color. Truly high quality! The staff were polite and attentive. On a Tuesday at 4pm, not too crowded and the crowd gets thinner around dinnertime. It's in the Isetan department store but not the main building. The 3F of the Isetan annex building, next to the souvenir shop. I'd highly recommend it to anyone, Japanese or foreign!!

There’s always a line. But we came here after lunch on a Monday you get a number and we were seated after 15-20 mins, had their matcha dessert parfait which was huge but very rich in flavor, not too sweet, and the texture was just right since they add some granola inside. They also gave us some complimentary green tea. This is a place worth the visit for a dessert. And even for the Japanese this is the place to go.

The location is very convenient as it’s right inside Kyoto Station. The matcha parfait is rich in layers and very delicious. I originally wanted to order the matcha soft serve, but unfortunately it wasn’t available. I’ll come back next time to try other items.

The shaved ice was heavenly. It was the best shaved ice in Kyoto! The parfait was great and pretty sweet. The matcha float had great flavor and lots of ice cream in it. Service was also great. Ifyou are at the Kyoto station, you should definitely visit!😋😋😋
