Nabezan is a Chinese restaurant full of Showa-era retro vibes. The recommendation is the ramen✨ Lunchtime service 'Han-chan Ramen' is only available for one hour from 12:00 to 13:00 for 750 yen including tax (usually 950 yen). Amidst the many heavy and rich ramen options out there, this is a truly nostalgic ramen🍜 And, the fried rice with excellent seasoning, somewhere between fried rice and dry-fried rice, complements the ramen perfectly. "Lunch please" "Service set" The way the lady shortens the words feels strange, but the service is fast, which I appreciate. A downtown Kyoto Chinese restaurant run diligently by an elderly couple✨ Even if you are alone, you can feel cozy here.
View on GoogleSince there are many reviews saying the Tenshinhan is delicious, I went to try it, and indeed the sweet and sour sauce has a good balance of sweetness and acidity. The thin-skinned gyoza are also light and delicious. I hope this veteran couple doesn't overwork themselves and can keep going for a long time. A few days later, I revisited to eat the Mushiroku set menu.
View on GoogleA strangely cozy restaurant. A Chinese restaurant run by an elderly owner. I ate the lunch set (Han-chan Ramen). Perhaps because it's Kyoto, the thin noodles and soy sauce broth are delicious. The fried rice is well-fried and fragrant. Cold tea, instead of water, is refreshing.
View on GoogleToday I had them make the usual fried cod and a special kasujiru soup. (I also had it last winter). The kasujiru at Nabezan is absolutely exquisite. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Within walking distance from home, I always come here seeking gyoza. It's an original taste and delicious. I don't order much from the Chinese menu. On this day, I chose the fried cod (homemade) and one dish of cod roe? snapper roe? (placed on the counter).
View on GoogleDelicious sweet and sour style Tenshinhan Old-fashioned Chinese restaurant, run by an elderly couple? The interior is a bit narrow, and the exterior is hard to enter, but the Tenshinhan is exquisite. A sweet and sour type that I personally like. It's not too sweet, and since it contains small pieces of char siu, the texture is not boring. I think it's a great place to drop by casually.
