Very attentive cooking——It’s a very cozy curry-themed restaurant. The curry is very delicious. There are choices of chicken or pork, and the rice is also delicious! The owner is very warm and friendly. For a foreign visitor like me who doesn't understand Japanese, the communication is pretty smooth. It was a pleasant dinner! I felt the optimism and friendliness of Kyoto people, and I hope I can visit again!

A little out of the way from arashiyama but definitely worth the walk or short bus ride. Nice quiet restaurant operated by one person. Food was amazing. Ordered the three curry dish with egg and extra rice on the side. Highly recommended!

Best meal we’ve had in Japan! We had the tandoori chicken plate with chicken curry! Flavours were incredible - kind service - gorgeous decor! Amazing!!!!

Wow.. this place is so good. The flavors were perfectly balanced and well thought out. There was a 15 min walk from the tourist area but absolutely worth it. I was happy from the first to last bite. I would want to eat here every day if I could. Flavours: coconut clam, chicken, and vegetarian keema

Lovely and away from the crowds. I had the choice of three curries which were all excellent, especially the coconut crab! No English menu but staff were more than hospitable and helpful. Two big curries and coffees came to £14, great value!!!!
