みみおMimio
If you are looking for a ramen shop in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto, please come to Chuka Soba Mimio, which serves ramen with a gentle, nostalgic, and light taste. Located right next to Kyoto University, Mimio is a ramen shop that serves Chuka Soba, Chashu Ramen, and special Abura Soba. Since our establishment in Gion 26 years ago, we have continued to make ramen with time and effort, evolving it into a more refined and delicious ramen. We are proud of our soup, which has a deep flavor despite being all-natural/no MSG. We also recommend the Chashu Ramen, which uses the finest domestic pork belly. A friend in need is a friend indeed. Can't wait to try the ramen 😂
View on GoogleDelicious Ramen. The place is charming with good rock’n’roll music. Highly recommended.
View on GoogleAwesome food, love the Mimio’s Ramen, slurpy noodles in a fun location off the beaten track. Get it in you!
View on GoogleEver so slightly pricier than the average ramen shop. I got ramen with extra chasyu (pork) for ¥980 and you would probably be able to get a set with gyoza or karaage and rice elsewhere. The normal ramen costs ¥690 but I think it’s slightly smaller than other stores. Still, the flavor was good. On the salty side, as most ramen are, but a cut above the average.
