The only standing sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to, and it was excellent. Exceptional atmosphere , with hosts that could not be kinder. Exceptional fish, with unique and innovative flavors. Exceptional value. And a large variety of saki available in single glass portions to easily enable a tasting experience. Overall, a wonderful experience that I would happily do again.

This is one of my favorite dinner experiences of all time. We opted for the omakase and each dish (delicious and unique) and sake were part of the chef's experience or from her home region. We are just visitors, but felt lucky to have joined the locals/chefs who also raved about the place.

Amazing sushi bar. The chefs are kind, talented, and accommodating. The food is excellent. The environment is fun and intimate. I would love to come again!

Very tasty hand made sushi and great atmosphere by ladies. Kaiseki sets were great, especially squids with cucumber! Highly recommended

We had an amazing and memorable experience here. The girls were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home, even though we were foreigners in a local setting. The food and sake were delicious, and we considered this an experience beyond just eating. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto.
