We found this café by accident after spotting it on Instagram, and it turned out to be such a sweet little surprise. Somehow there was no line when we arrived, which felt rare for a place this cute, so we took it as a sign and went in. The space is bright and airy, filled with soft natural light and minimal, cozy decor that makes everything feel calm and inviting. Every little detail—from the plating to the interior—felt thoughtfully put together without trying too hard. It’s one of those spots where you instantly feel relaxed and want to slow down for a bit. The desserts were almost too pretty to eat. We tried one of their cakes and it was unbelievably light and fluffy, like it just melted away with each bite. Not overly sweet, just delicate and perfectly balanced. I also got a matcha, which was smooth and refreshing. It’s not the most complex or high-quality matcha I’ve had, but it still hit the spot and complemented the desserts really nicely. Overall, it’s more about the experience than perfection—the atmosphere, the presentation, and that cozy, tucked-away feeling. Definitely a lovely place to stop if you’re craving something cute, calm, and a little indulgent
View on GoogleSummary - really cute drinks and desserts. Plenty of seating space. Highly recommend getting their matcha latte with oatmilk and their mochi balls. Fav part. Kinda pricy but made sense for the location. The pink cloud cake dessert was good too.
View on GoogleStopped by for a cake while walking through Sannenzaka. The cakes were easily the best part of the visit – they looked good without being over the top, and the flavours were well balanced. The matcha desserts in particular were enjoyable and not overly sweet. The café can get busy because of its location, but it’s a convenient place to sit down for a break and have something sweet while exploring the area around Kiyomizu-dera. Can get pretty busy during the day.
View on GoogleReally great matcha and the dessert is light and refreshing, perfect for a quick treat. The place is very clean and comfortable, with Wi-Fi and a restroom available, which makes it an easy stop to relax for a bit. The atmosphere is simple but pleasant, ideal for a casual break. There is also a large seating area on the second floor, so it doesn’t feel cramped even when it’s busy. Definitely a nice little spot to recharge.
View on GoogleThe desserts and drinks here were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The cloud mousse cake and the matcha latte are a must-try. However, the service I received from the female staff member at the counter was quite disappointing. She looked extremely exhausted and unhappy, as if she didn't want to be there or interact with anyone. When I asked questions or placed my order, she barely said a word; she only pointed at things with a blank stare. It was a stark contrast to the other staff member making the drinks, who seemed perfectly fine. I hope the owner takes better care of her well-being or looks into the working environment. Such a lovely shop deserves a more welcoming atmosphere. I truly wish she finds more happiness in her day-to-day life.
