The best food we have ever had. Not only was it delicious, it was comforting. We shared both savoury and sweet meals and they were amazing! The service was beautiful and very polite. This is a 100% recommend.

Lovely little cafe with good coffee and yummy food. The mix of local produce dish was very nice, and the pizza, though basic, had an amazing crust (by itself worth a visit). Lovely lady serving is bringing a relaxt vibe to the whole establishment.

I visited Kulm in winter about a year ago. It was snowing that day and the cafe was a cosy little oasis, tucked in beside the river. The food was so fresh and warming. I think about Kulm all the time, so much so that I try to replicate the food at home. But nothing beats sitting in the Kyoto countryside on a snowy day, in a warm cafe enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. I cannot wait to return.

Beautiful cafe, the location next to a calm flowing river. The lunch plate and prosciutto pizza were plentiful and so delicious. Créme brûlée and pudding cheesecake, the best desserts I have ever had! Highly recommend this gorgeous place when visiting Ohara. I will dream about KULM for a long time.
