Miso soup is rlly clean Hiragana chicken doesn't taste very coherent. It's mild though so it doesn't clash too much, but this really isn't a gastronomic dish

I arrived at Kyoto University and was brought to Hiraganakan by a local. Almost immediately, it became my favorite restaurant in the area...and even across all of Kyoto it's one of the best! Many fantastic dishes here---my favorites are the *yukimi minch*, *butter yaki chicken*, and the *salsa chicken*. Can't get enough!

It is near to the North campus of Kyoto University. English menu is available and the waiters are very helpful. There is a wide variety of choices available. Tried pork with ginger. The food tastes great!! Will surely come back again.

A delightful experience at a quiet and small restaurant a bit off Kyoto University's Yoshida campus. The roll katsu was an innovative and fun dish with a whiff of curry
