Manage to get a seat on second try and it paid off - all gyoza are made fresh by chef, on the spot after you order so you can watch the whole process from the beginning. Atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. If I had time I would go there again.

Small and cozy with only 10 counter seats, and very popular. The gyoza are handmade right in front of your eyes 😀 I have the feeling that mostly tourists come here – the walls are covered with greetings from people all over the world, and a mix of Western music is playing. The atmosphere is great, and Taizou is very friendly. The gyoza had a nice crunchy texture but taste-wise they were good, but not the best I’ve ever had. Everyone has do eat at least 2x7 gyoza, cash only.

This was the best gyoza I’ve ever had! The atmosphere also adds to it and you get to watch the chef make everything from scratch. I highly recommend this place!

Great atmosphere! We came here not only for the food, but for all the things around it! Very small place, chef is very friendly and even though English is not a strong language, he does his efforts to communicate and entertain! Gyozas were good, in a reasonable quantity! Sometimes they can get easily damaged when eating as it’s too hot, but still are very good!

Need to know: This place seats 10, so if you are not one of the first parties in line, you will be waiting a long time to eat. The place is on the second floor and not easy to find if you want to line up before it opens. The atmosphere is five stars. You get an intimate seat watching the Chef make delicious plates of gyoza. Our favorites were the shiso and green onion gyoza which are different from standard gyoza fare. Our beers were ice cold and he generously shared a sake sample. I don't think these are the best gyozas ever even if the experience is top notch. They also gave preference to Japanese diners who skipped ahead of some giajin who arrived before them. The egalitarian in me didn't love seeing that, even though it didn't impact me. A line is a line. We spent 15,000 for four. We would return, but wouldn't wait in line.
