Calm, compact Italian restaurant plating homemade pasta & pizza in a converted townhouse.

A cozy and stylish restaurant located in a traditional Kyo-machiya townhouse. We serve Italian-based cuisine, including handmade craft pasta, seasonal vegetable appetizers, and charcoal-grilled meat dishes.

We weren’t sure what we wanted for dinner and just happened to stumble across this restaurant while walking around looking for somewhere to eat — and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made! We ordered the meal set (not sure if it’s a limited-time option), which included pasta and steak dishes with an appetiser, along with the pork shoulder. It was honestly some of the best food we’ve ever had. Everything was absolutely delicious. Considering the amount and the quality of the food, it’s 100% worth it. The female server was excellent — incredibly attentive and genuinely kind. She served us with such warmth and respect, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We ended up spending around ¥5000 each but if you just got a meal and drink definitely a good price considering the quality of the food! We’ll definitely be bringing our family here the next time we’re in Japan!!

Nice Italian restaurant with some unique menu. The fresh pasta tested really good. They can arrange menu for your size of group. Would love to come back. The space is not big and so a reservation recommended.

So I better start with the tortellini. It is damn incredible. I think it might even be perfect. You might say the flavors were genius. That might not make sense but lord was it right. Hell the steak and pork were also damn near perfect too. One odd thing worth noting: the space is small but it has direct light above making it feel intimate and private. This might seem strange to mention but it is very thoughtful in design. It takes a busy atmosphere and makes it cozy. It is special. I will return here for sure.

The tortellini was the highlight—rich, cheesy, and beautifully textured. The medium rare beef steak was tender and satisfying as well. Definitely worth a try!
