ビストロ・ラマージュBistro Ra Mage
5 minutes from Karasuma Oike Station ● Casual interior atmosphere ● Recommended for anniversaries, dates, and girls' gatherings ● Infants and children allowed. One of the few restaurants that conveys classic French cuisine to the present day using traditional French techniques × flexible sauces. From traditional recipes that few people can make now, to arrangements using seasonal ingredients such as Kyoto vegetables and game meat, we inherit good old French cuisine to the present day. Wines are also selected mainly from Burgundy. In accordance with the chef's intention that "I want many people to taste delicious food without being stiff," children are also welcome. It is a restaurant supported by many celebrities.

Had the most amazing French-flair cuisine. Even as a one-man operation, Chef Hiroshi’s attention to detail was impeccable—each dish thoughtful, precise, and beautifully executed. A true rarity, and an absolute honor to dine here for our year-end friends’ gathering. Thank you.
View on GoogleI was very happy and moved to be able to enjoy old-fashioned French cuisine for the first time in a while. For a 6-course dinner, 'Will I be able to eat a lot of fish and meat?' I was worried, but because it was so delicious, I ate it in a flash. Also, every time a dish came out, a delicious scent wafted through the air and made me feel happy. Since I live outside the prefecture, I can't come often, but I would like to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful time.
View on GoogleOrthodox French cuisine, the chef even handled customer service alone. There is no BGM, it feels like they are winning with just the food. Polite service and the food is delicious, a wonderful restaurant. Amuse is warm pork rillettes... cute form. Appetizer is angel shrimp and raw ham salad... delicious, what flavor is the dressing? I don't know but it's delicious. Bread... the one with delicious butter, the one that's a sure thing. Soup is cold cauliflower soup... it has jelly-like ingredients and is a very delicious soup. Main is beef red wine sauce... the meat is small but tender and delicious (it might be unavoidable at this price, but I want to eat a little more). Dessert is a special dessert... cake, ice cream, pudding, classic. Coffee.
View on GoogleI use it with my family or with friends. It is very delicious. I felt this was more delicious than French restaurants in Osaka's famous restaurants.
View on GoogleBecause it is located in the center of Kyoto, morphologically, it is what is called an "eel's bed" (long and narrow). Therefore, the frontage is narrow, and if you are walking slowly, there is no problem, but if you are in a car, you might need to be careful not to miss it. Takakura-dori, where Bistro Ramage faces, is a one-way street heading north. When I visited the shop in the evening, the signboard installed in front of the shop was a perfect landmark. (By the way, Kyoto townhouses often have a narrow frontage and a long depth, and that long and narrow shape is called an eel's bed.) Due to its structure, the tables in the store are laid out in a single horizontal row, but my impression was that it felt a bit cozy and relaxing. I have only talked about the outer frame, but the essential food was also delicious.
