This is a memorial hall that condenses the records of Katsuya Nomura, a great player and great manager of his time. I really felt how the people from his hometown thought of him as a local hero. This is the result of the efforts of his family and people related to baseball. Besides many trophies and certificates, can't the original handwritten essay be seen in any baseball museum? If you look at the details such as in which stadium and from which pitcher he hit the then-Japanese record of 52 home runs, you can see that he hit home runs from many great pitchers. You can also buy local products at the adjacent shop, so if you are a baseball fan, be sure to stop by when you are nearby.

You can watch for free. The scale is small, but the materials are well-prepared. If you like Katsuya Nomura, I don't think you'll lose anything by visiting.

I'm not a baseball person, but I came because I like Nomu-san! I thought it was a wonderful memorial hall. Just one room, and although it's small, I could feel Nomu-san's greatness!

The history of Manager Nomura and numerous awards and books are on display. Also, a video of warm messages from his students? to Nomura is being shown. I once again felt Nomura-san's greatness. It's wonderful.

Wonderful! That's all there is to say. I'm a generation that doesn't know his active days, and has a stronger image as a manager and commentator, but I learned a lot. Many shields, trophies, flags, etc. are lined up and displayed in one room that is not large. However, it is worth seeing. Due to time constraints, I only visited for about an hour, but if you like it, I think you need three or four hours to look and read carefully. As mentioned in other people's impressions, his high school essay is displayed, and I could feel that he had been using those unique phrasings since then with beautiful handwriting and easy-to-read sentences. I want to go see it again with plenty of time. I highly recommend anyone who has even the slightest interest to go.
