Went to this place bcos of the rating . Cute place . Queued but did not have to wait for too long . Service is good . Ambience - ok but the lights are in yellow using hot bulbs . We sat at counter and can feel the heat . Had salad and gratin . They were ok nothing shouts out . Tea is nice . The Pancakes was however were quite disappointing. It’s fluffy but flops after 2 min . They were undercooked and egg white and egg yolk also not well mixed as shown in photo . Not sure why . Were they in a hurry ? Otherwise taste is ok so just need to cook more . Cute that They have old man glasses who can see the bill clearly !

I always go to the Tokyo location when in the area. It's no surprise I would look for a Musashi no Mori Coffee when around Osaka/Kyoto. This place never disappoints. It is a place I imagine all those K-drama or J-drama shows portray in trying to create or build a restaurant or coffee shop. The setting is so comfortable; the food is incredible; and the service is top notch. The terminal in your table has a multi-language feature to order items. The fluffy pancakes are a must. The coffee is necessary. Come in, eat, and relax. This chain is a treasure in Japan.

This place has a beautiful interior that takes you away from the busy life. Great place to take a small vacation away from it all. The coffee is great although a little strong. The pancakes are very fluffy, more like whipped cream than the standard pancakes you are used to. My one complaint is that it is quite noisy due to the high ceilings. Also, the staff still seem a little new. They managed to forget someone else's order while we were there. Overall, a good experience though.

The food was not bad, but not exceptional. I had the eggs Benedict and can honestly say I have definitely had better. However, for the price it was reasonable.

Spacious space perfect for studying or chilling and chatting with friends.
