We found Taku Taku browsing for Yakiniku restaurants on Tabelog around the Kansas region and made a reservation through their Facebook. Recommend taking a taxi from the closest train station. The range of beef was delicious. The cuts were fresh and high quality. Also, we did not feel heavy after the meal. Even though it was a Yakiniku restaurant, it did not smell like smoke inside because their exhaust system was great! Our favourite cuts were the Harami, Base of Tongue, and Heart. The vegetables were delicious too and is sourced from their own farm. The onion was especially juicy and sweet. Their staff were very friendly. One of them could speak English and explained how to cook each cut of meat and what dressing to use. Thank you for the memorable experience!
View on GoogleBest yakiniku I had in Japan. The people are super friendly. I will definitely visit again if I have another chance.
View on Google• Daily lunch (1958 yen including tax) The contents are, you can choose thin sliced kalbi, thin sliced thigh, marinated beef (salt/sauce). I asked for sauce. Includes mini salad, special dish, soup, white rice, dessert, and 1 drink. I changed the meat to 1.5 times the amount for an additional 450 yen. In addition, I changed the rice to cold noodles for +500 yen. In addition, I added an order of the 3-type pork comparison set (1408 yen including tax), which is said to be bought as a whole animal from Kagoshima every week. The contents are pork belly (bara), shoulder loin (kata-rosu), and pork neck (tontoro).
View on GoogleThe fat is not too heavy, and you can really feel the umami of the lean meat, so you can eat it deliciously until the end. The sauce is not too thick, a perfect taste that goes well with both rice and alcohol. The inside of the shop is lively, and I can understand why it has been loved by the locals for a long time. This time it was a same-day reservation for two, but we were able to enter without any problems. With this meat quality and satisfaction, this price is quite reasonable, and the cost performance might be top-class even in Kyoto. It's a shop I want to visit again when I want to eat delicious yakiniku without being pretentious.
View on GoogleVisited for my wife's birthday. I didn't know meat could be this delicious! It wasn't that crowded around the time it opened, but before I knew it, it was full. This requires a reservation. Perhaps because it was the counter, the staff explained recommendations and parts of the meat, so we were able to eat it in the best and most enjoyable way. Thank you very much. Especially the Sagari! I'm glad I could eat it. I forgot to take a picture. There was a lunch menu, but we ordered a la carte. Since we ate a lot, the price was reasonable haha
