I came here because a colleague at work told me about it. It feels like typical Kyoto ramen... is the color Tokyo ramen? I had the set of regular ramen and small fried rice. The taste was just soy sauce! The interior was bright and the service was bright, but for those who like a taste that puts soy sauce at the forefront, I think it's a taste they would love, but it didn't suit my taste.

The black soy sauce ramen is delicious. There is plenty of chashu and vegetables (extra free), so it's very filling. The black soy sauce fried rice is also delicious. (Maybe even better than the main store♪). The set meal until 3 pm on weekdays and weekends/holidays is a good deal. There is also a daily set meal limited to each day from Thursday to Tuesday (first come first served), perfect for those who want to eat a lot. It's rare for a ramen shop to accept various cards and PayPay, which is also an attraction.

I ordered the set of ramen and small fried rice for ¥1,200. As a first-timer from another prefecture, I was surprised... It's salty. It's just salty. The soy sauce is too thick, it only tastes like soy sauce. There's some stir-fried pork belly? in it, but it's greasy. There's a lot of green onions, and without this, the saltiness and richness are so intense that you can't eat it. To cleanse my palate, I took a bite of the fried rice... It had the same taste as the ramen and was also too thick... It seems like you can ask for firm noodles or extra green onions or light flavor? but it's not written, and they don't ask, so it's not kind. I also didn't know what to do with the meal ticket. The tonkatsu in the lunch set my companion ordered felt like a lunch-only thing... Do you need this on the lunch set menu? It was a very harsh shop for first-timers. However, it is a popular shop for locals and was always full. Since there were many relatively large men and women and blue-collar workers, I think it's delicious for those who are used to eating salty food. Regulars seemed to order to their own liking. (I didn't know when they told them). Maybe it's soul food. Everyone was eating it deliciously. The atmosphere of the shop was clean and nice. The staff's response was also good, it's a famous shop loved by the locals. Sorry for being a first-timer🙇‍♂️

I had the ramen and fried rice. Both the ramen and fried rice were as expected in color and taste, but the taste was stable and I couldn't feel any characteristics. Now there are many ramen shops and many shops with personality, so I used to fall in love with this richness, but it is a fact that it is a little unsatisfactory now.

Ordered ramen and half fried rice. Shinpuku Saikan, which I usually visit, was better. The quantity also felt small. Shinpuku Saikan has an image of amazing volume, but this was a normal amount. The soup is black and looks thick, but honestly, it wasn't that much when it entered my mouth. The line is amazing, and customers come in one after another. The parking lot is also quite large, so it's very easy to use.
