Good and cheap
View on GoogleThis was the first time I've had such a delicious meal at a Rairaitei branch. What's worth noting is the high turnover rate. The stern-looking staff member who seems to be in charge of the kitchen is incredibly efficient. Haha. He thoroughly checks and gives instructions to employees so there's no waste. The spices and equipment on the table are also well-cleaned. Perhaps because the quality is strictly maintained, this is the first time I've had Rairaitei with such a distinct flavor. It was very delicious.
View on GoogleI used to go to Rairaitei often. Since I couldn't order extra back fat anymore and it didn't fit my taste, I stopped going. Besides that, the stamp card turned into an app a while ago, and when I tried to use it after it was full, it had expired, which made me feel cheated, and that distrust made me dislike it. Since I stopped going, I realized there are many similar shops, so I've been staying away even more.
View on GoogleThis is just a personal opinion. It's been a long time, or maybe a few years since I last went to Rairaitei. As mentioned in reviews for branches other than Kumiyama, the noodles are thinner than before (like Hakata ramen) so they might get soggy faster. I went on Sunday after 2:00 PM, maybe because of the anniversary festival? The parking lot was almost full, lucky I found a spot. Sat at the counter and ordered immediately, wonton noodles large portion, hard noodles. While waiting, customers were coming and going constantly, the turnover is fast but I waited 15 minutes for one bowl of ramen. The two young guys next to me also felt it was slow. Their lunch rice and fried chicken had arrived but the ramen... When my ramen arrived, theirs arrived too. I tried the hot soup, moved by the taste I hadn't had in a long time. The noodles are very thin, I ordered hard but maybe they were softer than normal? I finished it while regretting I should have ordered a regular portion. Thank you for the meal. Next time I go, I will order a regular portion with very hard noodles.
View on GoogleThere is a Rairaitei near my house, but I always intentionally come to the Kumiyama branch! The staff's service is wonderful, and the store is always full of energy. Especially the person in charge, maybe the manager? Their efficient work and attention to those around them are impressive, and I feel that atmosphere spreads to the whole store. This is a favorite shop I want to keep visiting! 🍜✨
