Kyoto Ramen Comparison Stamp Rally ④ The 4th ramen stamp rally with my daughter is at "Shige-chan Ramen" in Okubo. This is my second visit. The shop was founded in 1955 and seems to have started from a food stall. I ordered chashu ramen, my daughter ordered ramen without vegetables and bamboo shoots, and we shared half a fried rice between the two of us. The chashu ramen contains bean sprouts and green onions, and there is plenty of chashu. I like piping hot soup, but the soup here is at an easy-to-drink temperature. Old-fashioned chicken bone broth with a sweetness, a gentle taste. The noodles are medium-thin and straight, soft and easy to eat. It makes perfect sense that it started as a food stall. The half fried rice was fluffy and delicious. -Cuisine- •Chashu Ramen 950 yen •Ramen 750 yen •Special Half Fried Rice Set 450 yen -Inside the shop- The shop is spacious with three 4-person tables, one 6-person table, and 4 counter seats. -Parking- 2 spots next to the shop

I came here because I've been curious for a long time. I ordered the chopped chashu ramen, which is limited to 10 servings per day. The visual of chopped chashu spreading across the entire surface whets the appetite. The golden soup has the umami and richness of chicken bone broth, and the sweetness of the chopped chashu adds to the deliciousness. The medium-thin straight noodles have a good chewiness and go well with the soup and chashu. A bowl of ramen with a taste that feels somewhat nostalgic and gentle.

260509 (Sat) Since I was passing by, I visited for the first time a shop that has had good reviews for a long time. Other than the trouble with parking space, it was a very kind and conscientious shop. The current owner is the fourth generation since the food stall era. The taste is a light chicken bone soup that is safe for everyone from small children to the elderly, just like in the distant past. I had the large chashu wonton ramen set with tatsuta-age and mini fried rice for 2,020 yen. Basically cash.

<Price> Average Around ~2,000 yen <Shop> Tables available <Staff> Average <Cuisine> A shop located on the right immediately after entering east from the Sakae intersection on National Route 24 in Kumiyama. Provides ramen with a somewhat nostalgic taste, combining a soy sauce-based chicken bone soup with straight medium-thin noodles. <Taste> A simple soy sauce ramen with a mellow and flavorful soup.
