I really like this cafe, it’s a bit remote, up in the mountains, you will need a car to get there. They have many beans for you to choose from and they can brew it fresh for you to drink right away or grind the beans for you to take home!

Great local coffee roaster, they have different beans listed from dark roast to lighter roast. You can select from all the beans for a cup of hand drip coffee! It’s great to seat outside the shop and chill for a while.

If you're looking to buy coffee beans, it has to be NAKAYAMA COFFEE ROASTERY. I've visited many coffee shops, but the beans from here are the ones I find most 'delicious' when brewed at home. They have a rich lineup from light to dark roasts, which is great for choosing based on the day's mood or the season. I have my favorites, but I always struggle when I have to pick another one... that's how appealing they all are. The staff is also very kind and offers suggestions based on your preferences, which is reassuring. It's my favorite roastery where I find something new every time I visit.

Stopped by on the way back from Shoju-in. The shop felt tucked away in an unexpected location. The interior was a sophisticated, simple space with a roasting machine and many coffee beans beautifully displayed. I ordered an iced coffee this time, choosing two types of beans: Old Fashion and Chill Chill Chill. Both had unique flavors and were very satisfying. I definitely want to come back again. Coffee lovers visiting this area should check it out! Highly recommended 😊
