A facility standing next to the historic Kuni Palace ruins. It appears to serve as a branch of the Kizugawa City Cultural Property Management and Storage Center. Besides playing an explanatory video about Kuni Palace, it displays excavated objects such as pottery and roof tiles. You can look around freely for free, so if you want to learn about Kuni Palace, I think it's worth stopping by on your way to or from the historic site.
View on GoogleNew, clean public toilets have been installed in the parking lot. Inside the learning center there are pottery displays, video screenings, and unattended sales of local residents' crafts, among other things.
View on GoogleI recommend learning about Kuni-kyo here first before visiting the historic site. I think you'll gain a clearer understanding and enjoy the site more!
View on GoogleIt's about a straight 2,3-minute walk from the open area at the Kuni-kyo ruins. It's convenient that the toilets can be used at any time. They're incredibly clean.
View on GoogleIt's like a community hall and very small. An explanatory video about Kuni-kyo is playing. I thought the video was quite informative. That's the only exhibit, but I wanted to learn about Kuni-kyo, so I'm glad I went.
