Super cute restaurant. You take off your shoes and sit traditional style on the floor. There are cute decorations everywhere, including miniature dogs. Owner was very kind even though we could not speak Japanese and were seemingly the only tourists around. He offered us a menu in English and gave us hot tea. We ordered the kaisen don and sashimi sets, which each came with eggplant, tofu, udon, miso soup, and rice. We had the best meals there, which was a very special dinner that tasted wonderful.

You can tell that high-quality ingredients and attention to detail are at the heart of the menu. I especially loved the [insert dish you loved most — e.g., “grilled seabass”], which was perfectly cooked and full of subtle, balanced flavors. The service was impeccable — attentive without being intrusive, and the staff clearly take pride in what they do. This place is a true gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Incredibly authentic! No English, no worries. Staff were unbelievably accommodating and the food was great value (we did the set menus). We stopped in here before our boat cruise and highly recommend it to other travellers!

Friendly locals ~ great food at affordable pricing too. I can’t read Japanese, but there are picture aids on the wall, just point to what you want to have.
