Best bowl of Ramen that we ate in Japan, it was so good that we went twice. Generous portions, reasonable price and extremely friendly staff.

Had an amazing meal here. The ramen soup was rich & awesome especially the taro ramen. The dishes are very good value for money with loads of meat. Highly recommended place!

I visited the Kuzukawa branch of Daiichi-Asahi, a famous shop representing Kyoto, with my family. This time we ordered 'Deluxe Regular' and 'Small Fried Rice', but what surprised me was the volume of the 'Special Special' that my son ordered. The moment it was brought, our whole family spontaneously exclaimed at the size of the bowl and its impact. The roast pork in the Deluxe I had was thick-sliced pork belly that was very soft and delicious, melting in my mouth. On the other hand, the special had plenty of sliced char siu, which also absorbed the flavor of the soup well, and both were equally delicious. In the second half, I enjoyed changing the taste by adding a little spicy miso on the table, and the spicy kick added to it, so I was able to finish it without getting bored until the end. The set fried rice was also fragrant and went perfectly with the ramen. We were all full and very satisfied with the lunch. When visiting Kyoto again, this is a place I definitely want to stop by.

I had the lunch-only ramen regular, fried rice set. It had lots of thinly sliced char siu and was very filling. The fried rice was also delicious with the red ginger as a good accent. It's a pity that the seat height of the table was a bit high, making it hard for my feet to reach, so I couldn't relax.
