One of the best experiences i have had in my trip to japan. The restaurant serves really nice food. Fresh fish, pudding served with a breath taking view of the ocean. We were hungry after a long drive and this place satisfied all our wishes. It was a great time at a very beautiful cafe. It has some waiting time during lunch hours as there are few cafe in the area but definitely worth waiting.

A Coffee with the Best View in Kyoto! ☕🌊 INE CAFE (located inside the Funaya Biyori complex) is arguably the most scenic spot for a break in Ine. If you want to feel like you’re floating on the Sea of Japan while sipping a latte, this is the place. Why It’s Worth the Visit: • The View: The floor-to-ceiling windows on the second floor offer an unobstructed, panoramic view of the traditional boathouses and the calm emerald water. It is incredibly peaceful. • Modern Aesthetic: Unlike the rustic exterior of the town, the cafe is sleek, clean, and minimalist, making it a perfect "Instagrammable" spot. • Local Flavors: Their cheesecakes and seasonal desserts are delicious. If you're lucky, try something featuring local Kyoto tea or seasonal fruits.

Ine is very far, but I can say that coming here is super worth it. It’s beautiful, peaceful, quiet, and very clean. Above all, the food here at Ine Cafe is very delicious; when it comes to Japanese food, it’s always fresh and tasty. I would recommend this to everyone.

It was a bit far from the Ine Village bus stop(about 600m away). I was pressed for time due to my Amanohashidate itinerary, but I thought it would have been nice to spend some leisurely time looking out the window and enjoying the scenery. The system was simple: you order and pay on the first floor, receive a numbered stand, and place it on your table. Then, the staff would bring it up to the second floor. Since Ine yellowtail was in season, I tried the Ine-buri rice bowl, which was delicious.

🌤️ INE CAFE – A Peaceful Seaside Escape INE CAFE is a beautiful spot to slow down and enjoy the stunning coastal scenery of Ine. The vibe is calm and quiet, making it a perfect place to sit back and take in the blue sky, gentle waves, and panoramic sea view. The atmosphere feels relaxing and comfortable, ideal for anyone looking to unwind. The drinks are above-average, though nothing particularly special. They offer a decent variety of choices — cold and hot drinks, coffee, ice cream, and some cakes — enough for a light break while enjoying the landscape. What truly makes the café memorable is not the menu, but the location and peaceful ambience. A lovely place to stop, enjoy the breeze, and soak in the natural beauty of Ine.
