If feeding seagulls with shrimp chips turn you on then this is a great boat ride for that. Watch for the occasional hawk! Otherwise a short ride to the nearby fishing village and back. Nice views.

After experiencing the zen-ness of Japan, where even the Tokyo Metro have a chaotic calmness to it. But the seagull-feeding experience is just pure chaos. The views are great, but the seagulls is too aggressive. Maybe because they expect to be fed. Also I don’t know how healthy it would be to feed prawn crackers to the seagulls.

was a really great experience interacting with the seagulls. Many of them fly alongside the boat, eagerly waiting for snacks. If you like seagulls, choose the outdoor seats (upper deck); if you prefer sightseeing, you can sit inside. The snacks are quite cheap — ¥100 per pack — and I’d recommend buying some so more seagulls get to enjoy them. They’re surprisingly intelligent and observant. Once you start feeding them, some may even sit on your head or stay very close, waiting for food. You can toss the snacks into the air and they’ll catch them perfectly, or raise your hand if one is sitting on your head. They won’t bite your hand.

Feeding seagulls and eagles from the boat was the highlight! They literally swoop down to grab snacks from your hands. It’s a bit intense but so much fun for both kids and adults.
