This place and free. Ypu can relax with the view of Ine Bay and the boathouses. There is also a restaurant if you need to start your day full vefore your adventure.

This observation area is behind the roadside station and gives an excellent impression of Ine Bay with the 230 boat houses "funaya" down below. The bay is almost always tranquil, and with birds flying about offers some excellent photo opportunities. It is just a couple minute drive from the main town area, and I think it's worth stopping here before going down into the town to get an idea of what the whole area looks like. In the middle of the Bay is the uninhabited Aoshima island, which I heard is used for festivals and has a shrine on it. You are able to see this if you take a boat tour of the bay.
