My First Time at Ayabe Station. On a business trip, I came to Ayabe Station for the first time. Since it was my first visit, I thought it would be nice to have some ramen, so I searched for a shop on Tabelog. I found a place that looked like a traditional ramen shop and decided to go. When I entered the restaurant, no one came out for a while. I wondered if it might be closed, but since the lights were on and the door was open, I waited a little longer. Eventually, someone came from the back and took my order. It also took a bit of time before the chef appeared, so if you’re in a hurry, this may not be the best place. I ordered the set of shoyu ramen and tenshinhan (crab omelet rice). As expected from the appearance, it had that nostalgic, old-fashioned ramen taste, but it was actually quite good. The tenshinhan especially had that classic Chinese-restaurant flavor I love—it felt nostalgic and was very much to my liking. At 980 yen for the set, it was also a great value.

View on GoogleThis shop is located in front of Ayabe Station. I am happy that there is a shop parking lot across the shop. This is a community-based shop run by a couple, and the homey atmosphere feels good. The menu is rich. There are many single-item dishes, and the impression is like a town Chinese. The inside of the store has a counter and table seats. Both are old. "Tonkotsu soy sauce ramen". Although the oil content is high, the texture is smooth and the temperature is hot. Thoughts about tonkotsu taste or umami disappeared the moment the bowl was served. But it is a clear feature that it has a fairly strong soy sauce saltiness, which clarifies the outline. Although the soft medium-thin noodles feel a bit cheap, that is also sorrow. I don't know how many years they have been operating in this land, but the space that calms the heart, including the homey atmosphere, is the only one in a sense. When I think that there are many locals who were raised with this ramen, there is something that slowly comes.
View on GoogleI went after 2 years. It was delicious before, but after a long time, it became incredibly delicious. I was surprised that even though prices are high, the price hasn't changed much and the taste has improved several levels. Because the owner is elderly, I don't know how long they will continue, but if you want to eat Chinese food, this is a shop I want to visit as much as possible. The parking lot is 2 places across the road. It is a very wonderful shop, so I recommend it to everyone.
View on GoogleThe staff's attitude is unfriendly. Because it is a shop that allows smoking, which is rare these days, non-smokers should be careful. When people in the nearest seat start smoking, the smell of cigarettes is stronger than the smell of food, which is painful. The price is about the same as a regular ramen shop. Ramen and fried rice set 1080 yen (tax included). Not "the usual popular town Chinese!", but maybe a town Chinese that didn't become popular but is operating quietly. Good points: Because it is open until 23:00, you can eat ramen even if other shops are closed. Bad points: Overall value for money is bad.
