I heard this was a yakiniku restaurant rare even in Japan, where you can eat fresh raw meat 🥩 that has never been frozen, so I visited while also enjoying a 3〜4-hour drive 🚗 It's a lovely brick building with a wonderful exterior that has the feel of a long-established place 🏠 Right after entering, the lovely greeting of “Welcooome~” made me forget the fatigue of the long journey, and I immediately ordered サガリ ❗️ The carefully cut 牛サガリ arrived. I grilled it on the iron plate, taking care not to overcook it, and first tried it with the restaurant's special salt and spices 🧂🌿 For the first time, I felt, “the meat itself is delicious” ❗️ As I chewed, delicious juices gently seeped from the meat, enough to make me wonder whether it had been seasoned beforehand 🤤 Thinking I could keep chewing forever... Next I tried the restaurant's special sauce, which didn't interfere with the meat's flavor and made me keep eating more white rice 🍚🥢 The おにぎり 🍙 also had just the right saltiness for me, and I ended up eating 2, bonito and plum. Partway through, they offered a new ジンギスカン dish they were testing, saying “Give it a try~,” on the house. This was another rice-inducing dish: ジンギスカン and ホルモン, delicious even when grilled, simmered in a soy-sauce-based broth, haha. For dessert, they also shared some watermelon 🍉, fitting for a Hokkaido summer. The taste, service, and atmosphere all earned full marks 🙇♀️ Finding a restaurant I'd like to visit again made it a wonderful day off. Thank you for the meal 🙏 Ah... finally, I took home some of the curry sauce popular at lunch 🍛 The whole menu is incredibly reasonably priced, and it seems worth traveling from afar ☝️
View on GoogleIt's in 上湧別, 湧別町, just a short way off the national highway. There's a fairly large parking area in front. The lunchtime curry is delicious. As the name ビーフランド suggests, it becomes a yakiniku restaurant at night. It's a nice place with a Showa-retro atmosphere and the feel of an eatery frequented by locals.
View on GoogleGreat restaurant. The yakiniku and food are all very delicious. Especially, after the owner realized that we are not Japanese, he still warmly welcomed us. Even though there was only a Japanese menu, the owner patiently communicated with us using a translation app. Thank you. It's a wonderful restaurant. The yakiniku and food are very delicious. View on GoogleIt's a little way off the national highway, and it's hard to tell whether it's open. I'd been curious about it for a while, and when I took the plunge and went in, it was surprisingly spacious and bright. It seems to be a yakiniku and ジンギスカン restaurant, but there are also plenty of set meals and rice bowls. This time I had カツカレー. The rich curry with stir-fried onions was delicious. The ミックス丼 looked good too. It seems to be a mix of shrimp and katsu. Apparently people drinking alcohol have to hand over their car keys. Next time I think I'll take the bus and have yakiniku.
View on GoogleThe meat, of course ✨ But the curry here, which a friend told me about, is delicious 🍴✨ I've become so hooked that when eating curry out, nowhere else will dooo 😂🥳 Give it a try〰️🎶
