Perhaps you could call it a hidden gem in 湧別… Maybe it had a different owner before; it used to feel like an eatery rather than the café it is now. When I visited after a long time, I was a little surprised by the change. It had transformed into a comforting place with a quiet elegance in both the interior and food, or perhaps a feminine touch. I asked for a recommendation and ordered “鶏肉マスタード焼き定食,” and I remember how delicious it was. Black tea suited the atmosphere too, and I remember enjoying a calm meal… Actually, I haven't been for years, so finding a photo prompted me to write these impressions while searching my memory.

Ordered かつ定食 for ９５０ yen. It tasted like the tonkatsu your mother made at home, that so-called taste of mom's cooking. The place had the atmosphere of a gathering spot for 湧別 moms.

You could call it the only café in 湧別町 that really feels like a café. There's a reasonable selection on the menu, so lunch is no problem.

There are lots of menu items. They're served quickly ❗ Nothing I ate disappointed.
