Visited for lunch. A place I'd been really curious about. Its appearance made me hesitate for a moment before entering. I ordered a large portion of their specialty curry soba. A wide menu and a true local spot! The curry soba had a slight bonito flavor, mildly spicy curry, satisfying pork, and loads of noodles👌 Absolutely delicious😋 A large portion costs an extra 300円, but the quantity makes sense! I think going to Yubari just for curry soba is worth it👌 The ankake yakisoba the older ladies next to me were eating looked really delicious! ※Promptly visited again It was packed with locals at lunchtime on a weekday. The ankake yakisoba was delicious👌
View on GoogleThere was a huge gap between this restaurant's exterior and the quality of its food. Both the ramen and set meals were delicious. ①Soy milk ramen (plenty of vegetables, gentle umami) ②Tantanmen (surprisingly authentic) ③Zangi set meal (generous portion, delicious crunch) ④Ankake yakisoba (Mom's No. 1 repeat order) ⑤Curry soba (Japanese-style flavor with plenty of meat) ⑥Miso horumon ramen (both the miso and offal are incredibly delicious ⑦Jingisukan set meal (tender, flavorful lamb) Because everyone in the family ordered different dishes, it took a little time for everything to arrive, but it was all delicious.
View on GoogleIs it open or not…that is the question… A Yubari food spot I hadn't visited, Danshaku Baron. Judging by the name, maybe a snack bar or bar where local coal miners gather… But apparently the miso ramen is delicious, and they have katsu curry too!…You won't fool me, there's no way it's a set-meal restaur…The miso horumon ramen (1000円) was delicious! Not salty, with noodles coated in miso richness and umami, and large, tender pieces of offal (about 10 pieces). Finishing it left me very satisfied, and it looks likely to become one of my Yubari food staples! I thought it was a place like Chinrai in Akabira.
View on GoogleI found this place while looking for lunch during a work visit to Yubari. Its probably unique name and exterior surprised me, but the inside was spacious, and definitely had the feel of a rural snack bar. The layout looked like you could have yakiniku too(^^) What I ordered was, 「Miso horumon ramen 1,000円 The offal was very tender, and the ramen delicious(^∇^)The garlic came through strongly, and were the noodles from Nishiyama Seimen? Overall, it was high-quality ramen!※It was filling too. ※I was surprised that when I visited at lunchtime, it became almost full in no time. It's a popular local spot~! Since Yubari's specialty is "curry soba," I'll try something curry-based next time.
View on GoogleLast year I took my mother and aunt to Baron for the first time in search of the famous Yubari curry soba. While researching beforehand, the restaurant's appearance and customer reviews convinced me this was the place! As expected, my mother and aunt were surprised when I brought them, but after one bite of the curry soba, both were captivated by Baron's curry soba^_^ The thick curry sauce feels weighty when you lift the noodles, with onions and thickly sliced pork belly playing excellent supporting roles. It was outstandingly delicious, making white rice essential. Then 1 year later, my uncle and his wife, who became interested after hearing our stories, joined us, and we all went to eat curry soba again^_^
