Whenever I eat soba I always get "mori soba", but since it's a local specialty, I tried ordering the "curry soba" at "Curry Soba Asahi". It was full, but they let me share a table and I managed to order. The soba was hidden in the thick curry broth, so I pulled the noodles up to make them visible before taking a photo. The moderately spicy curry clings to the soba for an exquisite flavor. The toppings were a simple combination of just onion and pork belly.

If you're having lunch in Yubari, this is probably the best place. The interior, like an old-fashioned yokochō alley, is old but full of character and really nostalgic lol Several shops are housed together, so you can choose from a wide variety, from seafood to tempura, ramen and more; even if you come as a family, everyone can eat what they like, so I recommend it!
