Enjoy the deliciousness of local seafood with sushi and seafood bowls. From June to August, our specially selected uni appears!! Owner Hiroaki Shinada, who has over 30 years of experience as a sushi chef, opened 【Shokujidokoro Takeya】 in 2009 so people could casually enjoy meals centered on sushi. Since then, because you can enjoy sushi and seafood bowls using plenty of local seafood, it has become a shop visited by many tourists as well as locals. Among them, what they are especially particular about is 「uni」. From June through the end of August, only uni from local Shakotan, Yoichi, and Furubira is used, and the finest, freshest…

View on GoogleI ordered the Take Set, 2700 yen including tax. The main contents are a sushi, soba, and tempura set. Comes with a rice bowl and clear soup. It took about 5 minutes to come out, which felt fast. My impression: ordinary. The tuna was chutoro-like and had sinew. Are they serving poor-quality toppings for the price? I added individual nigiri. Salmon, lean tuna, seared salmon, tekkamaki, see photo. Total about 3950. Frankly I think it's expensive. It's tourist-spot pricing, I see.
View on GoogleWhen I stayed overnight in my car at the michi-no-eki, this place was across the street, so I went for a pre-bed drink. I was satisfied with the snacks and beer! The michi-no-eki was terrible, but this place was good!
View on GoogleVisited on 2025/8/16. The three of us in the family came to eat uni-don. It was past 13:00 but full, and we waited a bit. Uni is basically market price, and that day it was 5500 yen, a good price, but since you can only eat it this time of year I ordered without hesitation. But looking at the customers around, surprisingly few people ordered uni-don, and most had sanshoku-don or seafood don. Maybe many are locals. In terms of cost performance, even the sanshoku-don is plenty. The interior was clean and calm. I had actually planned to go to the nearby Kakizaki Shoten, but gave up when I saw the huge line. I searched suddenly on Google Maps and visited, and choosing this place was the right call. At checkout it was cheaper than I expected, and when I looked at the sign out front it said 「1000 yen off, limited to 10 servings a day」, so it seems we qualified. Lucky. If I get the chance I'd like to come again.
View on GoogleI ordered the Sake Oyako-don without soba. A simple, ordinary seafood don. I don't know if the rice was vinegared rice or not, but it didn't taste very good…
