Using homegrown vegetables and plenty of tomatoes from the owner's family tomato farm, almost everything on the menu is made from scratch. The interior is a renovated 50-year-old traditional house, offering a relaxing atmosphere and views through the windows of the forest and garden right outside. Japanese-style rooms are available, so families can relax comfortably in private rooms. We also offer sofa and window-side seating where couples and friends can chat at leisure. Our concept is to spend time slowly. The owner runs the place alone. Serving may take a little time. Please enjoy a slow, relaxing visit.

Cozy cafe tucked away in the countryside of Japan. The interior is filled with tons of personality. The food is amazingly delicious as the ingredients are harvested onsite, can’t get fresher than that! The owner is very welcoming, making it feel like you’re visiting an old friend while you share an hearty meal together!

What a find! In the middle of nowhere, feels like the owner's home. He let us choose records to play, and then played similar music afterwards. Some dishes include homegrown vegetables, everything tasted like food from your family's kitchen, it was so nice and relaxing. Because it was him running it all alone, the waiting time was quite long, but we didn't mind the wait in such a friendly, home-like environment. We were the only table there. I had the omurice and it was so tasty, and lots of veggies in the rice, which was a nice surprise!

A Hidden Gem with Heartfelt Hospitality My family and I, a group of six adults, stumbled upon this place while searching for breakfast after our original plan to visit an orchard fell through. Google Maps showed that it was open and just a short drive away, so we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, the owner informed us that there was an entrance fee. We were initially hesitant, but since our original plans had already fallen through, we decided to stay—and we’re so glad we did. The place felt like the owner’s home, with a warm and cozy atmosphere, though slightly smoky from the kitchen. At first, the owner seemed a bit guarded, perhaps because he wasn’t used to having many tourists visit. However, as we settled in, the ice quickly broke, and we felt genuinely welcomed. Despite the language barrier, he did his best to communicate with us, even checking in to see if the heater was working fine. He later explained that every dish on the menu was made from scratch, entirely by himself, which meant that the wait time would be long. As we enjoyed our meal, we couldn’t help but notice the exceptional quality of the vegetables. We speculated that they were either sourced from a nearby farm or even grown by the owner himself. The freshness and flavor added to the authenticity of the experience, making every bite feel truly special. One thing to note is that because the owner runs everything by himself (at least in the morning—we weren’t sure about the afternoon and evening), the waiting time after ordering can be quite long. If you plan to visit, it’s best to come with 2–3 hours to spare and embrace the slow, thoughtful experience. I'll leave a photo here, taken with my disposable film camera, which perfectly captures the rustic and quaint charm of this place. I hope it intrigues you enough to visit. This ended up being one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend stopping by—it’s not just a meal, but an experience worth savoring. Sometimes, it’s the unplanned moments that surprise us the most.
