This is the oldest winery in Yoichi Town, where Nihon Seishu Kabushiki Kaisha first started making wine in the town. These days, Yoichi is known for the Nikka Whisky Distillery, wineries, and the fruit road. You can tour the factory here for free, and besides the cafe there are a restaurant, shops, and more, on a large site. I had the Niagara soft serve ice cream here. It apparently contains alcohol, so please be careful if you're driving. When I ate it, I couldn't taste any alcohol at all. The first bite, the Niagara flavor tasted really delicious, but as I kept eating, the milk flavor became stronger. I thought that if there were a sauce, I could enjoy the Niagara flavor until the end... It was cool inside and I could relax. Water is also available self-serve. I didn't see any bread. I also looked at the gallery & atelier. Lots of lovely works were on display. The works seem to be changed once every 2-3 months.
View on GoogleI came on a Sunday around 12:45 and was able to get in without waiting. It's a cafe inside the Yoichi Winery facility, and they have a soft serve ice cream made with Yoichi wine's Niagara, so I had that. It had a depth of flavor different from grape flavor, and it was delicious.
View on GoogleThis cafe in Yoichi Town, Hokkaido, attached to the winery's brewery, is charming for its stylish atmosphere. Among the drink and food menu, the soft serve ice cream is especially popular. It has a refreshing taste, perfect after a wine tasting or for a break. They also say the apple pie is recommended, so why not order it together. It's a perfect spot for those who want to not only enjoy wine in Yoichi but also make the most of their cafe time.
View on GoogleI had soft serve ice cream at the Yoichi Winery cafe. It's a shame that there's no Niagara soft serve in winter. I ordered the Yoichi Winery Soft for 600 yen. They gave me pie and brownie as a complimentary extra. The atmosphere inside is warm and calming, and the staff's service is wonderful too.
View on Google【A Luxurious Ice Cream Treat with Yoichi Grapes & Honey 🍇🍯】 I stopped by after lunch at the cafe "Winery Café & Bakery", attached to the Yoichi Winery Restaurant. This day, for takeout, I ordered: • Niagara soft serve ice cream • Yoichi honey soft serve ice cream 🍦 The Niagara has a very refreshing grape flavor and a clean aftertaste. The honey soft serve has a gentle sweetness and richness, and it's a wonderful balance—rich but not cloying ✨ The location surrounded by nature is also appealing, and it's perfect for stopping by during a drive ☺️ Thank you for the meal! 【A Refreshing Ice Cream Stop with Local Flavor 🍇🍯】 Stopped by the Winery Café & Bakery next to the Yoichi Winery Restaurant for a sweet treat after lunch. We ordered: • Niagara Grape Soft-Serve • Local Yoichi Honey Soft-Serve The Niagara ice cream had a wonderfully fresh grape flavor, crisp and refreshing. The honey ice cream was rich yet not overly sweet — perfectly balanced and satisfying. The location is surrounded by nature and makes for a relaxing stop during a drive through Yoichi. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a local dessert experience!
