From the back the master said "Sure~" and "Sit over there," guiding me kindly, and I was relieved 🙏 The interior felt a bit intimidating, but the friendly master and proprietress saved me. There's nothing to complain about with the sushi toppings. The rice envelops the topping with perfectly judged seasoning. I also had the abalone sashimi, and what freshness, the liver was crunchy, and I was surprised by a texture I'd never had before. Master~ next time I'll bring Taimei from Fujii Jozo in Oita, Kyushu, so please give it a try. The "Kokokara" I brought this time is a bit pricey, so please forgive me 🙇

A sushi restaurant in Wakkanai, Hokkaido. 『Sushidokoro Minami』 The shop has a beautiful exterior and interior. The service is shitamachi (old downtown) style, so there's a huge contrast. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal 😋

I had the omakase and ordered 2 extra pieces. It was delicious, and the owner, the proprietress, and the senior proprietress were friendly and easygoing. The uni was, as expected, I think local.
